US Security Guard Training

Now that you’ve completed step one and have your certificates for the Power to Arrest and Weapons of Mass Destruction classes, you’re just two steps away from getting your California Guard Card…

Step 2 – Get Fingerprinted

Fill out the “Request for Live Scan Service” form for SECURITY GUARD, then take it to a Live Scan location to get fingerprinted. Live Scan fees are $49 plus a variable “rolling” service fee that’s determined by your chosen facility.

Fingerprinting is required. If you do not get your fingerprints taken, the State will NOT give you a Guard Card.

Step 3 – Submit Your Application

After you get your fingerprints taken, you need to fill out the “Initial Security Guard Registration” application & include the following information:

  • Course Instructor: Muhammad Usman
  • School Name:  US Security Guard Training
  • License Number: TIB 1959**
  • PTA Certificate Serial Number:
Located on the bottom left corner of your Powers to Arrest Certificate.
